Founded in 1955 by major actors in the fields of education and culture
so as to promote a new kind of tourism combining learning and the
pleasure of discovery while supporting the artistic world, Arts et
Vie has the legal status of a 1901 association. Its registration number
at the French Ministry for Tourism is AG 075950028.
With about 50,000 travellers each year
Arts et Vie ranks among the leading French tour operators and is
probably the most important French cultural association for travel
abroad.
Activities : travel, holidays, leisure
are offered through a large variety of programmes : hundreds of
tours in the French language in 70 countries across the five continents,
visits to major cities, Summer festivals, sun and discovery breaks,
arts et civilizations forums, themed weekends and days out in Paris,
but also sport and leisure in holiday centres across France.
A special department for groups offers, along the same lines, cruises,
trips, weekends away.
