Location :
Located in the Guisane valley in the Briançonnais Mountains, Le Monêtier-les-Bains is one of the four towns of the Serre-Chevalier resort. Between the Cerces massifs and Écrins National Park, this mountain village, perched at an elevation of 1,500 m, has been able to maintain its charm as a mountain resort, since harmony has been found between the traditional residences and more modern constructions so as not to spoil the landscape. Hot springs, already known to the Romans, made it possible to develop the thermo-leisure activities, which were solidified in 2008 with the opening of the over 4,500 m² Grands Bains center. A hiking mecca in the summer, in the Écrins National Park, when the snow falls it becomes a very dynamic winter sports resort with the magnificence slopes of grand Serre-Chevalier.
